ah sizing is the most difficult for me,i really liked my 16.5 inch stinky size with a 23.5 inch toptube.

marquis wrote

how did you find them size wise, according to the geo and sizing on the spesh web the sxt has a 20mm longer toptube.

marquis wrote

what size was your demo and what size sxt did you ride.

park city sucks. the faster lift that has some short and dumb runs takes 30 minutes to get up, and the longer lift that has betterish runs take about an hour er so to get up, and the runs are basically all-mountain style and not challenging at all. Deet valley is sick though. in the begining of the season is the best because the trails are really compact and still somewhat moist, and it gets looser as the season progresses, but still amazingly good

sweet, not aggresive as such just wasn't getting used as much as i'd liked, well that and i wanna pedal to more place's.

I don't think there's a race that day, I just want to get up there and hit hellion before the season is over. October will be busy but I get the beginning of november off so I'm def going up.

I have ridden the hammer and I'm not too sure if I like it to be honest with you. I like 22/36 gear ratio, but what I don't like is the weight. It's a heavy component.

yeah that'd be cool. i'll probably drop by your shop one of these days when i go to ride nepaug cause i doubt my dad would drive that far just to pedal a bike around a parking lot lol. does your shop also carry sx trails?

trekriderOWS16 wrote
Aug 28, 2009 at 16:33
although my bottlerocket is 40+ lbs so it might not be that hard to get used to. im not worried about the weight so much as the pedal bob. its 7 inches of travel right?

trekriderOWS16 wrote
Aug 28, 2009 at 16:28
thanks so would it make sense for me to get the sx trail instead because im going to have to do a fair bit of climbing. although the demo 7 doesn't have much more travel.

trekriderOWS16 wrote
Aug 28, 2009 at 7:49
hey how is the demo for pedaling? I was thinking about getting one put was worried it would be a pain in the ass to pedal around

since you work at a bike shop, i was wondering if you could answer this question. do you know of any cassettes that are held together by pins you can take out with like an allen key? cuz i was told the pg950 is like this, but want to confirm. the reason i ask is because i want to make a 6-speed drivetrain with a neutral gear.
